Scientific Transfer Concept
The scientific transfer concept of the MIC consists of establishing a competence and service center for small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, and larger companies in the medical device industry as well as scientists and career changers in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The goal is to develop a central know-how platform with comprehensive development, support, consulting and training services, which will enable a close connection between the resident industry of Rhineland-Palatinate and the clinical experts.
The MIC Mainz supports in particular SMEs, start-ups and scientists in developing new medical devices in various (specialist) areas, by providing comprehensive services and necessary infrastructure – in the sense of a full-service package.
In addition, the MIC offers a central point of contact as a “single entry point” for companies involved in medical devices.
The MIC coordinates all workflows and supports companies in questions relating to medical devices, especially in research and development.
